Berry

Berries are small, juicy, fleshy fruit. There is a wide variety of berries, with a large range of effects. A Pokémon holding a berry can automatically consume it in battle to gain its effect.

Berries can be found growing on plants, and can be planted to grow a plant which yields more berries. Berries are therefore a replenishable item, and cost nothing except time to obtain more of them in this way.
