Trivia[]
- In previous builds, Downward Cave used to be a single giant cavern. It was divided into many smaller rooms during development to better match Pokémon's caves in Generation 3-5, but every individual area was kept relatively the same.
- In an early demo of Pokémon Sage the mushroom cavern of Downward Cave held a Level 45 Gigaard as an easter egg for testers.
