Early Bird is an Ability. It is the signature Ability of Cardinite's evolutionary line.

Early Bird causes quick awakening from sleep. On the turn the Pokémon is put to sleep; if it would sleep for 6 turns, it is halved to 3, if it would sleep for 3 it set to 1. If the Pokémon would sleep for one turn it instantly wakes at the end of the same turn
