Eronze is the only member of the Golem trio which does not learn a status move at level 64.
The members of the Golem Trio each have a different number of eyes that increase with their Pokédex number: Eronze has 1, Erion has 2, and Erace has 3.
Like all Legendary Golems, Eronze was intentionally designed with a 4x Ground-type weakness to represent the impermanence of human triumph.
Eronze's Pokédex entry refers to Corinthian Bronze, a famous alloy of bronze from ancient Greece.
Design origin[]
Early concepts and designs for Eronze.
1/3
Eronze is based on artificially-created humanoids, such as the golem of Jewish folklore or the automata of Greco-Roman mythology. It is also based on the Bronze Age, an era of human development defined by the production and smelting of bronze for its use in tools and weaponry.
Eronze's "face" evokes the hole of a blacksmith's fiery kiln. While not as overt in the final design, Eronze still retains some elements from previous designs that had it more closely resemble Ancient Greek hoplites and Roman legionaries.
