  • Montegrew turning "bitter" when it falls out of love is a reference to the fact that dandelion leaves become bitter and unpleasant to eat as they grow larger.

Design origin[]

Montegrew is based on the Montague family from the play Romeo and Juliet. It is also based on a dandelion, a flower often considered a weed and undesirable, and thus contrasts with the lily, which is what Capulilly is based on.

Name origin[]

Montegrew's name is a combination of Montague and grew.
