Design origin

Pueblant is based on an ant or a mound-building termite, and a calavera, also known as an ornate sugar skull, typical of Día de Muertos, the Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday that has roots in Aztec culture.

Name origin

Pueblant's name is a combination of pueblo, a term often used to describe the clay-based architecture of the Puebloan tribes of the Southwestern U.S., and ant.
