Rage Powder is a non-damaging Bug-type move.

Rage Powder makes the user the center of attention, forcing opposing Pokémon to use its move on the user rather than the intended target (even if it was a friendly target, unless the move was Acupressure or Helping Hand) for the rest of the turn during double battles. It does not affect allies.

If the move cannot target the center of attention (Acupressure or Helping Hand), the attack will work normally. If the center of attention is taken into the air by Sky Drop, it no longer draws moves, even moves that can hit it while in the air.

Rage Powder cannot draw multi-turn moves like Sky Drop.

Rage Powder draws Electric- and Water-type moves even if a Pokémon with Lightning Rod or Storm Drain is on the field. If another Pokémon on the same team is already the center of attention, the first user takes priority; if the first user is switched or faints, the attack will be drawn to the next center of attention.

Due to only having a priority of +3, Rage Powder cannot divert Snatch (unless the user has Prankster and would move before the Pokémon using Snatch) or Pursuit being used on a switching ally; due to being in the same priority bracket, Rage Powder can only divert Fake Out if the user of Rage Powder would move before the user of Fake Out. Rage Powder does not stop the effects of moves which hit multiple Pokémon in a battle.

The user scatters a cloud of irritating powder to draw attention to itself. Opponents aim only at the user.
