Trivia[]
Design origin[]
Scovalope is based on a jackalope, a mythical North American creature that resembles an antelope jackrabbit with (hence the wordplay) antelope horns, and chili peppers.
Name origin[]
Scovalope's name is a combination of Scoville, the name of the scale which rates how pungent chili peppers are, and jackalope.
