Simple is an Ability. Two Pokémon can have this Ability.

In battle[]
Simple double the number of stages caused by a stat change. For instance, if a Pokémon with Simple uses Defense Curl it will cause its Defense to rise two stages. If a Pokémon uses Psych Up on a Pokémon with Simple, the change will be the same as if the Pokémon using Psych Up had Simple and used the Stat boosting move the same number of times.
Simple changes the flavor text, so that moves which cause stats to 'rise' now will make them 'sharply rise'.
