Siphon is an ability. It is an original Pokémon Sage ability. It is the signature ability of the Sanguito family.
Effect[]
In battle[]
If a Pokémon with Siphon uses a move that makes contact, it will have a 30% chance to heal the bearer by half of the damage dealt, in addition to its normal effects. The amount of HP restored can be boosted by Big Root.
This ability does not apply to moves which already restore the user's HP by some proportion of the damage dealt, such as Absorb.
Outside of battle[]
Siphon has no effect outside of battle.
