Suction Cups prevents the opponent from forcing a switch with Roar, Whirlwind, Dragon Tail or Circle Throw.
Outside of battle[]
If a Pokémon with Suction Cups is leading the party, bites will occur more often when fishing. The effect is the same as the one granted by Sticky Hold.
