Trivia[]

Design origin[]

Terratetra is based on anteaters and gastroliths, animals who swallow stones to aid digestion.

Name origin[]

Terratetra's name is a combination of the words terra, the Latin word for earth, and petra, the Greek word for stone. It also contains the word tetra, the Latin term for the number four, which possibly refers to its four legs.
