Tess is the creator and administrator of the Urobos Pokémon Storage System. A bookish and somewhat aloof individual, she spends too much time on her computer or with her Pokémon, and tends not to be very talkative with people.
However, she is a very quick thinker and an efficient tactician in battle, willing to make tough calls and switch out her Pokémon when she sees an opening for gaining the advantage. She designs battle simulations to test the playability of her team. Her strategy is preparation oriented, perfectly calculated IV/EV's, meticulously selected move pools to minimize weaknesses, and hold items that perfectly compliment her Pokémon's strategies.

Tess is first encountered in Vivace City, where she is trying to fix an issue with the Pokémon Storage System. After the Player and Pokéman raid the Team Aurum Headquarters, she detects a virus that snuck into the system during the blackouts that were plaguing the city. A random PC located somewhere in the city contains a Vectol, that can be battled and caught. If the player locates the infected PC and catches the Vectol, they can return to Tess, who will analyze the virus and reward the player with an item.
