Trivia [ ]
The Diloweed , Phlask and Vectol lines were the last evolutionary lines to be confirmed.
Despite being partly based on a computer virus, Vectol is not part Electric-type. This is because the design concept is more about being a techno-organic entity and infecting things, rather than being hardware-based and running on electricity. The Pokémon Porygon and its evolutions are not Electric-types, dual-typed or pure, for similar reasons.
Vectol and its evolution are the only Pokémon with a varying base experience yield.
Design origin [ ]
Vectol is based on both a virus and a computer virus . It closely resembles a computer mouse , as well as a bacteriophage . Its appearance is also based on a pincerless scorpion .
Name origin [ ]
Vectol's name is a corruption of vector .
