Waterfall Cave is a short cave that lies beneath Route 1, with multiple entrances to it. Its main feature is a large waterfall, which can be viewed from a nearby bridge.

On 1F of Waterfall Cave the player can find a Swimmer. When spoken to, he will explain that you can descend down waterfalls without the use of Waterfall, and then descend down himself, entering B1F. On that floor he can then be battled as a trainer.
